If you are lucky enough to know Christine Pearce, you know of her bottomless reserves of generosity. In the last year she has spent time visiting orphanages and building beds for underprivileged communities in Guatemala, fostered pets for owners that needed time to get healthy, and has continued to feed any animal that strolls through her backyard(including possums). This doesn't include handfuls of money that she gives to the homeless or the countless conversations that she has with friends in need- always leaving them in a better frame of mind than they had been in prior.

Christine is always willing to give her time, money, and love if it will make a single life a little bit more enjoyable. What's more, she never gives with the expectation of getting something in return. With her 30th birthday approaching, there is no better way to celebrate the manner in which Christine lives her life than by helping to provide a basic necessity to as many people as possible: Clean Water.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

We started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world.
