Dear Friends and Family,
We first heard of this charity while listening to one of our favorite podcasts. On the podcast, the CEO, Scott Harrison, told his story of building charity:water, an incredible organization that builds wells around the world for humans who need this basic necessity in life. We love that the charity is doing such great work; that 100% of the donations we give will go directly into a project that we can all see together (a detailed report will be provided to us after the well is built); that the donations don't go to a fat cat CEO; that the charity is based in NYC; and that by doing this rather than a wedding registry, we will be saving a lot of space in our studio.
Again, 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. One of our hopes is to visit the clean water project for our wedding anniversary. What a gift that would be for us!
Please donate so that together we can give the gift of clean water.
Love,
Yubin and Cory
