Why CoryxKenshin is fundraising for clean water

Time to put on our superhero capes.

Guys, stuff like this is what life is about. We are fortunate enough to have pure and plenteous water all around us. What if all of a sudden, all of our access to vast amounts of water, was taken. What if we couldn't drink water every time we were thirsty, or even had to save water by not flushing our toilets every time? Random examples, sure, but you know what I mean. There are literally people in this very predicament around the world this very instant you are reading this sentence. And we've been given the opportunity to do something about that, so let's go.

God Bless Us All.
________________________________________
Every day, 1,400 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

CoryxKenshin - I know I told you that the first 24 hours was the easy part. The dedication towards being able to complete these 48 hours means so much to the people who needs that water. The reason why you still had roughly 400 people after your first 12 hours is because your community loves you so much to try supporting you anyway we can. I don't only want to say thank you just to you, but to all of your moderators and volunteers that had to keep up with you during this grueling 48 hours. I want to say thank you to everyone who helped through donation and watching the stream. Remember to fill up your glass of water and make a speech before reading the total raised during your 48 hours.
No one has taken what you have done this weekend for granted. The dedication it took you to jump into doing 48 hours, we all know that you'll reach your 150k goal with no problem. God bless you brotha.
