So you're probably thinking:

WHAT IS THIS, DAHLIA?
This is an invitation! For about a year, I've been dreaming about partnering with the people I care about to do something special. We have all been inundated with local and global tragedy week in and week out, particularly through the news. Despite this, I believe we can be salt and light to our bland and bleak world. Here's one way we can do this together!

WHY WATER?
The quality of water directly correlates with a community's quality of life.

Even in 2017,

- 1 in 9 people worldwide, do not have access to safe and clean drinking water

- Half of the world's hospital beds are filled with people suffering from a polluted water-related disease.

- Every minute a child dies of a water-related disease

In 2017?!?!?

WHO'S CHARITY WATER?
charity:water specializes in global, clean water projects. When I worked with this organization in the past, I was blown away by its transparency. It is incredibly rewarding to work with an organization that gives people the tools they need to increase their quality of life.

( ^^ that's basically what Occupational Therapists do, for those of you asking! )

WHERE WILL THE MONEY GO?
100% (that's right, 1 hunnit) of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when these projects are finished, charity: water will send photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. I'm really excited to share that with you!
