There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

My birthday is almost here...(Dec.9) ...and I'm truly grateful to have somehow lived another happy, healthy year. At this time of year I always look forward to choosing one special cause I believe in that I might be able to channel a bigger pulse of support to, with the help of my growing network of family and friends...more than I can do on my own...and in celebration. This year I choose Charity:Water and I'm donating my age in dollars to the cause. I give thanks to the clean, available water there is in my/our life...and I sincerely want that for all. We are reminded...that there are 800 million people in the world living without any access to clean water. (!) And this is something we Can address. We Can help change that. There are solutions. So for 2014 I'd be immensely honored if you might direct some beautiful Birthday attention and energy to support the work of Charity:Water. Let's do this together to bring clean water wells to many more villages in need. :)

Launching this campaign on Giving Tuesday, and having it run through Dec9, I hope my birthdaywish will soar along with the true spirit of this time of year...and that it may be one of your easy choices/channels for a meaningful giving action :) Every penny of the money raised through this BirthdayWish campaign will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months).
