I'm about to turn a year older, but this year, I'm giving up my birthday for charity: water.

Instead of giving me presents, or writing on my Facebook wall, buy me something that matters - please donate whatever you can for my 24th birthday, and help me bring clean water to people in need.

Every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!

My goal is to raise $1,000 (just over £630) by my birthday, February 23rd.
