This September Campaign is about passionate, creative and goofy fundraisers doing everything they can to bring clean water to 50,000 people in need… and you better believe that the charity: water Deploy team is getting in on the action.

With your help, Deploy is going to draw a jerry can on the streets of New York, walking as many blocks as you donate dollars while carrying full jerry cans of water. YOU get to decide how big the map of our jerry carry will be. For every $1 donated, we will add a block to our walk.

People without access to clean water must walk over 3 hours every day to bring back water for their families. On the return trip, they also have to carry 40 pounds of water in a jerry can. What better way to raise money for this cause than by stepping into their shoes and raising awareness for the water crisis as we walk across Manhattan!

And if you needed more reason to donate, for $20 you will be entered into a raffle to pick the crazy costumes we wear for our walk. A $50 donation will get you a postcard from the field and if you donate $200, we will send you a video from the field. If you donate $500 or more to our campaign, we will carry another jerry can as we walk. That's 80 pounds of water!
