A birthday is a time to celebrate living life another year. Well, my last year has been ... eventful. Last September, I got married to the love of my life. I'm one of the lucky ones who got to marry my best friend. And then about 5 months ago, I found out I am going to be a FATHER. We are expecting a little girl in January. So, yeah... it's been quite the year :)

I have everything I could possibly need. A loving wife, a warm place at night and a job that keeps me motivated. When my family started asking me what I wanted for my birthday, for the first time in my life I could not even think of one thing. So this year, I'm doing my birthday differently. I'm using my birthday to give back to people who could use some help. There are hundreds of millions of people in this world who don't have access to clean water. I'm giving up my birthday to try and help shrink that number a little bit.

This year, instead getting little gifts that don't really mean anything, I'm asking you to help me change the lives of people who need something that means EVERYTHING. I'm turning 24 this year. So in return, all I'm asking for is $24. If you feel like you can give more, then do it. Just because I'm not turning 100 doesn't mean you can't give $100 if you want. ;)
