There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

Welcome to my birthday (present) page. In 2 weeks, I will be turning 24. I consider myself a huge birthday princess and this year, I want to share my birthday with the rest of you. I am extremely thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year.

For those who know me, I am a camel. I gulp water like it's my job. You'll almost never see me without a water bottle or two in my hand. I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

Help me reach my goal. What's a better feeling than knowing that you made an impact on somebody's life?
