Many of us pay little attention to the impact water has on our lives. We have plenty of clean water to drink and use at any given time -- to re-hydrate ourselves after those tough training sessions or simply clean our bodies after a long day.

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. Imagine living in fear of not knowing whether the water around is safe to drink or play in. No one should have to live that fear -- and the good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way. Charity: water, a non-profit organization, is here to provide clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations through simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters.

In order to support this cause, Samurai Swag Co., Guerrilla Muay Thai, and I have partnered together to host an open mat that will help raise awareness and funds to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world. This open mat will take place on Saturday, October 6th at 3:00 pm. The location will be at:

There will be a $5 entrance fee and any extra donations are much appreciated!

If you are not able to make it to the open mat, you can still place a donation through this campaign page. Anything you can give is a huge help for these communities.

100% of the money donated will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
