There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!
Have you ever said, “I’m dying of thirst?” If so, I bet you didn’t really mean it.
If you’re like us, you don’t spend too much time thinking about water -- it’s everywhere we go. When we’re thirsty, we flip a handle or push a button. When we’re dirty, we twist a shower knob. When our garden needs watering, when our pasta needs to be boiled, when we use the bathroom -- water is just an arm's length away.
But, in many developing countries, women and children walk for hours, up and down mountains, just to collect water that can make them really sick.
800 million people on the planet don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. To mark World Water Day on March 22nd, Farmerama is raising money for charity: water to build a well in Kenya which will bring water to a few of those without this basic human need. If we reach USD 20,000, we’ll be able to fund an entire well!
