It's hard to imagine, but many people around the world don’t have the luxury of clean water. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way! There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
Faster Fitness created the I <3 Taco's and Beer Relay Event For Charity Water with the goal of providing people with clean water in underprivileged areas.
This year, our goal is to raise $2,400, which will provide water to 80 people.
Plus, we want to have some fun doing it :)
100% of the donations will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
In the last 2 years, we've provided 151 people water in Mozambique and Mali with over $4500 in contributions.
We've teamed up with Start Bar for Tacos, Urban Chestnut for beer, DJ Merf for beats, Arch Apparel for swag, and others to provide an amazing experience on Saturday, June 1st from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Faster Fitness, located at 1432 Strassner in Brentwood, MO.
If you want to participate in the relay event, we first ask for a donation of at least $20 to this page. Next, please click the link below to register. There will be up to 7 teams, with 6 people on a team. The winning team will have some awesome gifts from our sponsors. You do not have to be a member of Faster Fitness to participate.
