The Lord has blessed me to see 22 years of life & for that I am eternally grateful. A blurb wouldn't be enough to say everything that the Lord has done for me.

As my birthday was swiftly approaching, I kept saying to myself "I want to do something important, some form of community service, giving back".

Coincidentally, I came across Charity: Water. While browsing the site, I began thinking to myself how much I actually take the access of water for granted. I mean really think about it...

If I wanted to take a shower right now, at this very moment, I would simply walk ten steps over to the bathroom, put a shower cap (gotta protect the hair, you know ;-) and hop right in the bathtub.

Easy right?

Not the case for my cousins living below poverty level in Haiti. They would have to walk with buckets of water on top of their heads in the scorching sun with sweat trickling down their face. Imagine that.

So this year, I'm giving my birthday up.

I'm turning 22 years old, & I am asking for you to support my campaign by giving $22 or more to a great cause. My birthday wish this year is not for more gifts I don't need; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. I want to make my birthday matter this year.
