On August 25, I'm turning 32.
Eww, right?
But then I found out that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. Why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water. And that is NOT okay with me.
So I'm not worried about turning 32 anymore. In fact, I'm celebrating my birthday like I have for the past two years.
I'm asking for $3.20 (or $32 or $320 if you're feeling super generous) from everyone I know -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations.
So, instead of buying me a drink on my bday, please spend your money to make sure some people have what they really need to drink: clean water.
My goal is to raise $320 by my birthday, August 25th.
