If I raise $1,000 for clean water I will shave my beard. Let's Go!

More than 750 million people lack access to clean water, and 3.4 million people die each year due to a water-related disease. That’s about the size of the city of Los Angeles.

My goal is to contribute $1000 to our campaign. If I raise $1000, I will shave my beard. I've had my beard for over 2 years.

My barber in Williamsburg told me it was one of the nicest beards he'd ever seen. Having one of nicer beards in Williamsburg is basically like having one of the nicer beards in the world or Sting naming you as one of his influences. It's big.

For every $100 dollars I raise until $1000, I will also do 100 push-ups. #becauseliving

charity: water is a NYC-based non-profit organization that provides clean and safe drinking water to people in 22+ developing countries. 100% of public donations are directly invested in the water projects. Charity: water has a four-star Charity Navigator rating.When the project is complete, we will be provided with proof of our impact (GPS coordinates, photos, and information about the impacted community).

Our goal is to raise $10,000 - this is enough to build a fully sustainable well and serve an entire community. I want to donate at least 10% of that goal. Let’s break down the math - if 100 people ask 10 friends each to donate 10$, we will have met our goal.
