Over this Thanksgiving, my friends and I are climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest mountain in Africa, 5,895 m (19, 341 ft) above sea level! Up until and during this time, I have chosen to fundraise for Charity: Water, a non-profit that uses several solutions like wells, spring protections and BioSand filters to provide clean drinking water to communities in Tanzania and around the world.
If the fundraising goal is reached, 196 people will gain access to clean water! However many more are in need every day, so our efforts are just the beginning.
