In lieu of all the gifts you were going to send me for my upcoming 30th birthday (September 2nd), I'm looking for at least 30 people to donate $30 towards clean water projects!
Many people around the world today don’t have the luxury of clean water. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
Thank you so much to everyone who donated! We didn't hit my original goal, but our money will help 10 people gain access to clean drinking water.
