Listed below are two undeniable truths.
1. We are in the 21st century and clean water has yet to be globally accessible.
2. Turning 21 years old is mainly known for being the legal drinking age in the U.S.
To counteract the water crisis, I am pledging my 21st birthday to charity: water. I firmly believe in the mission of charity: water and admire their creative approach and full transparency in providing clean water to people in developing countries. My goal is to raise $2,100 by September 15th. A total of 70 people will get access to clean water by successfully meeting this amount. Personally, I am committed to contributing to this fund and excited to invest monetarily and more importantly into the lives of those who lack one basic, vital element.
Suppose 100 people (my gift will be on top of the 100 contributors) each donate $21, my goal can easily be reached. Imagine if we exceed those numbers with the addition of many more compelled givers; we can increase the number of beneficiaries.
Will you kindly consider this special alternative to birthday presents -- as much as you can offer is enough support and equally appreciated.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
