Got thirst?
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty.
After a recent trip to Cambodia, I experienced first-hand the gleaming faces of children in Kampong Khleang and how happy they were to receive packages of ramen noodles and school supplies.
Yet the problem was bigger than providing school supplies or food, when these children couldn't even access clean drinking water.
We're all aware of the struggling in the world, but the idea that we can make a difference is an eye-opening experience.
The thoughts started plaguing me...
If we could make an impact through some crayons and ramen, what could we do with a strategic plan? How could we keep this effect lasting and create structural change?
We can all make a difference for kids just like these.
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
Please donate to my campaign -- If you wouldn't drink this water, why should they?
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
Let's come together and make a difference!
