For my 20th birthday, I am again excited to start my birthday campaign, as I have done for the past 3 years. It warms my heart knowing that my birthday can bring people a necessity that they otherwise would not get~ and there is no better gift than that!

After visiting Ethiopia through charity: water a few years back, nothing will beat the feeling of seeing the smiles and joy clean water brings. Not only does clean water mean healthier people, but it also means kids can go to school rather than walk for hours to get dirty water, moms can work to help support their families, and dads no longer have to worry about the dangerous walk their families endure to go fetch dirty water.

Just take a few seconds and think about how CRAZY it would be to not have clean water; something that 1 in 11 people live without... But, it doesn't have to be that way, and what's NOT crazy is doing something to help!

So, for my birthday, I ask that instead of sending me cards or buying me a present, you give me the gift of knowing someone is going to get clean water.
