Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

EUMC, NYC, and charity: water!!!
At 4:30 am it is really light out and that makes it easy to walk out the door to begin our awesome adventure!
It is 6:31 am and we are pulling out of the terminal!
Our goal? Oh yes! We do have one. We are going to deliver the $1,624.71 that was raised by your joyful dollars and kind donations! This will be added to the $3,597.00 that has previously been raised for a total of ... $5,221.71!
By working with charity: water we are changing lives! Water is not a right, it is a necessity and we are bringing clean and safe water to a community where the women and children will no longer have to walk for hours and carry heavy jerry cans full of dirty water for their families to use for cooking, bathing, and cleaning. Along with clean and safe water, we bring sanitation, hygiene, and health: they can wash their hands and they no longer need to poop in the bushes. You have helped us as a youth group and Sunday school to spread our love globally!
