I'm turning 38 on August 17th which means it's time for my 6TH ANNUAL CHARITY WATER BIRTHDAY CAMPAIGN!!! I am so proud of what my friends and family have accomplished over the past 6 years in raising almost $15,000 for clean water in developing nations! I am eternally grateful for your generosity and I want you to know we truly ARE making an impact by working together to end the water crisis.
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Charity:Water provides simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
Every year I am compelled to start my campaign again for a multitude of reasons, but the overarching theme is always: we are so BLESSED to live where we live and have the luxuries we do. WATER is a basic necessity which every human should have access to so we must each do our part to make this a reality. I am reminded every year how many generous people I am surrounded by and I am so thankful for the gift of each of YOU! I am rich with love, friends and WATER!
My goal this year is to raise $3,800 for my 38th birthday! In lieu of any gifts or parties this year, I'm asking for a $38 charity:water donation from each of my friends and every penny goes directly to fund water projects. Your $38 gift will give one person clean water for 20 years. That's life CHANGING!
Your gift is also 100% tax deductible and charity:water will tell us which water projects have been funded with your donation once the projects are complete (takes 12-18 months)!!
