I miss my sister more than words can express. I miss her hugs. I miss her laugh. I miss her smile. I miss her humor. More than anything, I’ll miss how much she cared for those around her, always worrying about everyone else’s wellbeing, most times even more than her own.

Grief comes in waves, sometimes calm and sometimes overwhelming. Finding meaningful ways to remember my sister has helped me through the grieving process. I started this fundraising campaign to honor my sister's life and her heart for others. My faith teaches me the value of charitable gifts, especially those that are ongoing and extend far past our lifetime. That theme resonates among many belief systems.
