Why Jay Co is fundraising for clean water

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 28: Again because of technical limitations, we have to reset the page. We are a total of $17,230 into our goal! You can see the previous two parts of this drive here:

part 1: http://mycharitywater.org/p/campaign/?campaign_id=23699

part 2: http://mycharitywater.org/p/campaign/?campaign_id=27814

Please read below and make a donation. The impact that even just $1 has on the water crisis is amazing!

UPDATE JUNE 30: Because of technical limitations, we had to close down our old page and start a new one. But we are already $7,360 into our 50k goal with another 13k plus pledged to be collected by October 1st. Almost halfway!!!

UPDATE MAY 17: My friend and teacher training graduate, Jason Gamer, just put out an email asking all his friends to donate to this cause in lieu of receiving birthday gifts for his upcoming 40th birhtday. Happy Fricking Birthday, Jason Gamer. You are a man to be reckoned with and I am eternally grateful.

I couldn't possibly tell you how clean water saves lives better than that video to your right can.

Please watch it. It's really well done and only about 3 minutes long.

We have a massive goal, but I am confident that we can make it happen. As you make your donation, maybe you would consider that:

$20 is less than a few beers on a night out.

$20 is less than a tank of gas, and probably less than even half a tank of gas.

$20 is less than the average price of a single yoga class in Los Angeles.

$20 is less than two tickets to the movies.

$20 is less than what you probably spend on water in just 20 days, while...

$20 donated to charity: water will deliver clean, safe water to 1 person for 20 YEARS.

Crazy, right? And it's tax-deductible!

Please also remember that any donations made here that are non-specific (neither tuition of a student nor part of a matching contribution) will be counted as "scholarship fund" donations. They will allow me to grant tuition reductions to deserving teacher training candidates against these amounts as I see fit AND I have worked it out with the universe so that you will get double karma points for your donation. :)

Ka-pow!

Thank you so much everyone! Please feel free to email me at the address below if you have any questions.

Peace, Love, and Clean Water,

Jay Co
