With Hurricanes Harvey and Maria and the Horror at Los Vegas - it's easy to feel discouraged and that the world is full of insurmountable evil and heartache. However, it's only a feeling. The truth is evil can always be overcome with good.

Today, while listening to the news, I learned that the Vegas shooter, stocked up on 33 new guns in the past year. Well, with this new year, I would like to stock up on 33 friends who will each give 33 dollars (because that's how old I am turning) to Charity Water. If we raise $1000 - we can help 33 people get clean water!

Since life is short and we are never guaranteed more time, I'd also like to take this opportunity to share what I am grateful for. For those of you who know me or ever tried to contact me through social media, you know this is not my strong point. Nevertheless, I'm going to start posting what I am grateful for every evening.
