On June 7th 2019, I will turn 50 yrs old and I’ve been contemplating how to mark the occasion. Party? Holiday? Dinner with friends?

But many people around the world don’t have the luxury of making that choice. Many don’t even reach 15, let alone 50! Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help Charity: Water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me. $30US helps 1 person get clean drinking water. I’d like to get clean water to 50 people for my 50th birthday, and I’d love your help.
So, no party, no holiday, no dinner. I don’t need them, I have a wonderful life everyday. Instead please help me celebrate by waiting for a day when the exchange rate is good, and donating to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
