**Some Words from Me**

Those of you who know me well are probably shocked that I'm doing this at the last minute, but hey...

24 was an interesting year for me. Some big challenges and some big wins too. As I hit the quarter-century milestone, I'm feeling like 25 is going to be a really wonderful year.

And I want to get things off to a good start by putting some goodness out there in the world. Instead of presents or drinks, I'd love some help in getting to $500 of funds raised for c:w. It's an incredible organization that's solving a huge issue in an excellent and innovative way. Simply put, they kick ass and take names when it comes to fighting one of the biggest problems in the world today.

There are a BILLION people in our world who lack access to clean water. Think about that for 30 actual seconds.

What if you had to walk down to a dirty, polluted river and carry that filth for miles just to quench your thirst or wash your hands. It's a thought we're pretty removed from in our world, but it's reality for a huge part of the world.

1,400 lives are lost every day, and we have a chance to stop that.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, 1,400 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
