Life got busy, and I didn't do a charity:water campaign for my birthday this year like I usually do, but I'm doing it now! We are currently in a world where people are angry. People are frustrated. People are longing for good news. Well, here's some good news: YOU can make a difference by bringing clean water - something we take for granted every day - to the 663 Million people around the world who lack access to it on a daily basis. You can step outside of your daily life, your Facebook feed, the media, and do something beyond yourself that will bring your fellow human beings the most fundamental lifeline they could ask for: clean water. Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
