Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you very much for visiting my fundraising page: I truly appreciate your time.
Although I am a person that is usually apathetic to parties and loud celebrations, my love to celebrate moments with people I care for outweighs this apathy. Today, with this love, I would like to celebrate not just the day I showed up, but literally another day of life that all of us should cherish. I don't think I have grown up to a point yet, where I anxiously wait for each minute to pass. Yes, I have had many moments of pondering of what my purpose in life is. Yes, I have even Googled it, but I think what I and what we all search for is the strong feeling pointing us to the direction of our lives.
Before getting too philosophical with you, I would just like to share with you this:
One thing I have learned to be true from my pondering is that I have always wanted to help, I still want to help, and this feeling will always be with me every day and every birthday, for as long as they may come. And when I say help, I equate it to the level of passion: the passion that each one of you shares for someone, something.
When I graduate, I only plan to help.
Whether it be through my involvement in the government or law enforcement, through NGO's, through the Peace Corps, I am headed to fulfill this goal.
Charity: water is one medium I believe in with my heart not only because they literally provide families with the essential source of human life: clean water, but also due to their commitment to go beyond and help a woman become stronger, help children enter paths to bright futures and education, and sweat to give a reason for them all to live.
More than anything on this birthday, I wish that humanity remains within us all. And I believe this will hold true due to the compassionates everywhere.
I hope you have watched the video on the side, if not visited the website in detail, even though it is just a glimpse of what they strive for.
This year, and I hope for many years to come, I am pledging my 21st wish.

I wish I could do much much more right now. This is honestly the sweetest thing I have seen someone do for their birthday. Probably the biggest reason why I think you are so amazing. Happy 1 month and 7 days late birthday and christmas and kwanzaa and hindi holidays :). you are one very special young lady and if not yet then someday the world will for sure know it.
