I believe most of us grow up wanting to make a difference, but wait until we reach a proverbial mountain. Why wait? I’m a firm believer we are leaving our mark on the world around us - whether it’s by contributing to climate change, shaping the generation below us, or making change in economy. The kicker is figuring out what legacy you’re leaving behind. I don’t know what legacy I’ll leave behind, but I do know that I don’t want to wait.

MISSION: I've pledged my 25th YEAR to help bring clean water to developing communities by inspiring myself, you and everyone we know to explore creative ways of giving - time, skills, hobbies, etc. Every month, I’ll be partnering with friends, friends of friends, and even strangers to bring to you an opportunity to stand up to the world water crisis and help make a difference... NOW.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean! But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But, it doesn't have to be that way!

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build simple clean water solutions (drilled wells, biosand filters, etc.) around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help! Water means health, education, time, safety and empowerment - that’s the greatest gift I think any of us can give.

In leui of birthday gifts or treats, please consider donating some quarters to give the gift of clean water. Every drop fills the bucket!

100% of the funds will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
