goal
HEY GUYS!!! So, I started a campaign for clean water. Why? Honestly I was just sitting home today doing nothing on my day off and got inspired. My goal is $1,000 which according to chartitywater.org, will help 33 people. At first the number seemed small to me but upon looking into the stories of some of the people, I think its a worthy cause. I also did my research on WHICH non profit to fundraise for. Surprisingly, it took me a while to find a charity that will donate 100% of the profits along with keeping me updated on where and who the money is benefitting. Please donate what you can. $1,000 is a big and small goal. Seems like a lot, but I know we can help a lot more people.
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
