There's a lot going on in the world and a lot of issues that need to be dealt with, but there's a common thread in many poverty-related issues...clean water.
Over ONE BILLION people don't don't have access to safe drinking water and have to walk for hours every day to get water from stagnant ponds and muddy rivers. Not only does this water carry many diseases and bacterias, but the journey to get the water can be dangerous and take lots of time out of the workday.
Last year, we decided to partner with charity: water and bring attention to this issue. With your help, we raised almost $4000 and the money was sent to build wells in Rwanda, Ethiopia and Nepal! This year, we want to continue helping to bring an end to the water crisis by giving 10% of all the money we make from selling merchandise to charity: water. We're setting a goal of $1500 for the first three-month campaign to try and bring clean water to 75 people and we would really appreciate your help to reach this goal!
