As I approach my 30th birthday I am in awe of how blessed I am. Looking at my 4 month old baby I am so grateful to be able to provide him with what he needs to grow and thrive. As a new mom (and just as a human being), the thought of not having access to clean water is unimaginable. Please consider celebrating my 30th Birthday by joining me in brining clean water to people. This is such a powerful way to show love.

If you know me you know I love gifts. I mean if I'm keeping it real... I LOVE to give gifts and I totally like receiving them too. At this moment in my life I really can't think of a better way to celebrate my 30th Birthday than to do gifting differently this year. I am so excited to leave some things in my 20s and take some very special additions into my 30s. I want to start my 30s off right by showing my son what loving people can look like when you join those around you to make a difference--in ALL ways big or small. What a special thing to be able to be part of in my first year as Asher's mom and in the first year of my 30s.

A note from charity: water

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

This fundraising campaign is to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
