I’m pledging my birthday for clean water.

Here’s the reason why:

Imagine yourself living in an environment where there’s no near access to water, you have to walk a few miles daily to collect water from the stream and carry a 30kg bucket of water back home. This water source that you use for drinking and washing is shared with animals.

If you are reading this, you are most likely not struggling with these problems. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of millions of people on the planet who don’t have access to clean water. For some, not only do they spend hours to fetch water everyday, the water is often polluted. Children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.

Clean water is one of the most fundamental needs that often overlooked by people. Therefore, I started this fundraising campaign to help charity:water in their water projects like drilled wells, spring protections, water purification system and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. This campaign aims to raise the public awareness of clean water crisis. I appreciate you taking some time reading this and I hope you get something out of this.
