My birthday just passed, and for the first time, I didn't host a get together with friends or family to celebrate. Instead, I'd like to dedicate year 27 to helping end the water crisis around the world.
I'm asking for my age in dollars ($27) from everyone I know. And if that's out of your budget, anything you can spare will make a difference. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
