I am so blessed.

If 22 taught me anything, it was that I should be grateful for all of the people and opportunities in my life. 22 also taught me that I really, really do not need much, materially, in life to survive.

This year, instead of gifts, meals, or drinks, I would love for as many of my friends and family as possible to help me get 23 people access to clean water.

What is $23? A week of coffee? A manicure? A movie night? Two Sunday brunches? Three, maybe four, drinks at Happy Hour on a Friday night? (Better yet, a charcuterie & cheese board with a glass of wine to finish off the week.)

Of course, if you are willing to give up more than simply one of any of the above (or your choice of something worth $23), please do so!

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
