I would LOVE to celebrate my 44th year by providing more water!!
This year I'm SUPER excited about my birthday! Not usually something women (of certain ages) say very often, I realize. But my birthday these days means one thing.... More clean water through my annual Charity Water birthday campaign!
Clean drinking water is a basic human need and 748 million people on the planet don't have access to it.
I'm on a mission to change this. Instead of celebrating my birthday with me through gifts, meals, flowers, or money, I'm asking you and anyone we know to donate so we can fund water projects in developing countries. 100% of every dollar we raise goes toward project costs. And when the projects are finished (about 21 months), charity: water will show us the exact communities they helped.
The last two years we have celebrated and over 100 people in Rwanda have access to clean water and another pump is in the process!
Together we CAN give the gift of clean water!
