Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty, or to walk miles everyday forgoing work or education to bring water for the family. We are so fortunate that the twist of a tap delivers safe, healthy water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean! (Ick! Don’t try it)

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But charity: water and many partners are working hard to change that. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign because I’ve never had to worry about my drinking water, a basic human need, but having safe water to drink isn’t readily available for everyone. The goal of this campaign is to help charity: water build lasting safe water resources where they are needed. I'm looking for anyone who can help me. Let’s work together.
