After a life-changing year, I'm dedicating my birthday to helping change lives and you are all invited, dear friends! Just IMAGINE us all sitting 'round long farm tables in the midst of a bluebonnet field with a bluegrass band strumming and fabulous dishes being passed around and arnold palmers and fresh squeezed orange juice and sparkling champagne...let me kickoff this celebration with a toast -
Good fortune and health means nothing unless it also lifts up our fellow man!
In the same way we can IMAGINE such a vivid happy scene, we can also picture ourselves walking the daily walk in the footsteps of the 663 million people across the globe who live without access to clean water. I am humbled each time I create a charity:water campaign. To give to this cause is to join hands with mankind. To lift each other up. To provide life's most basic necessity to our fellow global citizens.
