Instead of getting presents, I want to GIVE a present!
So many people in our world still don't have access to clean water. Besides being a fundamental predictor for health, it is also a huge aspect of social well-being. When women and children don't have to spend hours of their day carrying water, they are freed up to care for themselves, their families and communities, and to get educated. Improving people's access to clean water is an incredibly important thing to do to improve the lives of so many people.
For this reason, I'm raising money for Charity:Water in honor of my birthday. As a gift to me, will you help other people be healthy physically and have healthy families and communities? Would you give $32 in honor of my 32nd birthday? (If that's too much, please remember that every little bit helps, and $2 is more than $0!)

This is a wonderful project !! I have been in Africa and have seen women walk an incredible distance with jugs of water on their heads !! The very sad part is most of it is contaminated !!
