goal
Right now, there are 663 million people without clean drinking water. Each one of these 663 million are individual people with talents, desires, hopes, and dreams for their future and the futures of their families. As a part of this campaign I wrote a mashup of top 40 songs and changed the lyrics to a theme of helping others(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=US3dTIwS_4o). I did this to show that you can use the things that you love and are passionate about to fight other people's battles for them and be a part of something bigger. Charity: water has brought hope and healing to 6.1 million of that larger number through the drilling wells and reviving communities. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. The goal is to raise $10,000, which would bring clean water to an entire community or school. 100% of the money raised will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. Let's do something amazing together!
