I've got a big birthday coming up! Thank you to those of you who have been helping me celebrate!
I really want to commemorate my 50th in a lasting way. I'm "donating my birthday" in order to raise $500 for one of my favorite charities: charity: water. They are doing incredible work around the globe to help bring clean water to people who don't have it.
$500 is enough to provide 16 people with access to clean water. 100% of the money donated to charity: water is used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
And just for fun, when we've reached my goal, I will send a "clean water changes absolutely everything" sweatshirt to one of my friends who donates (chosen at random : )
