We have been blessed with many opportunities to visit and serve in several countries overseas in our lives, including Honduras, Cambodia, Thailand, India & Central Asia. With that same wonderful opportunity has come a terrible and heartbreaking awareness of just how little the rest of world lives has to live on. One of the most obvious differences from how we have always lived was our access to water. Here, we drink it just like we breath in and out. An involuntary act that we never stop to think about. There, it is a rare and precious commodity, something people will walk miles for, just to find the smallest amount of dirty water.

Anytime we have visited another country, we have had to purchase and drink from brand new water bottles, never wanting to risk putting our health in jeopardy from just one mouthful of the local water supply. Because it is unclean. And yet millions are forced to use and drink the same unclean water that we refuse.

The wonderful opportunities we have had to travel different parts of the world has left us with an awareness, a responsibility to bring change.

We plan to raise money to build a well because we want to give back. It may take us years before we complete this goal but we are going to see it through.
