Imagine not being able to achieve your goals or dreams because your main focus is merely trying to survive. Not only for yourself but for your family as well. Waking up and seeking out water, any water, clean or dirty, is your main focus of everyday. That's what it is like for 63,000,000 people around the world. Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign, Get water Give water to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me. I named it Get water Give water because we as Americans can just go to our sink or the store and get water and others can't get water like we can. You know when you are in a time of need you are hopeful that someone will help you, so we should remember those feelings of helplessness and give to others like we would want to be helped.
