At Albert Einstein Elementary Charter School, we teach students to take action globally and locally. Most within our school community have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of clean water. However, every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.
This year, we are raising much needed funds for clean water.
charity:water works in 24 countries, located in Central and South America, Asia, and Africa, providing wells, spring protections, and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities.
Our goal as a school is to raise $2,000. 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects. If every family donates just one dollar, then we're almost halfway there.
