Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. Our hydration, our hot showers, and our clean pools are assured, simply because of where we were born.

But many people don’t have that luxury. 663 million live without clean water. This leads to a issues impacting health, economy, and rates of violence. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. Stripped down to our essentials, water is really a foundation for a healthy society.

Charity Water is a rapidly growing non-profit that is well-reputed and gives 100% of all the money we raise to providing water to those without. Our goal is $50,000 - enough to bring water to 1,666 thirsty people.

The Roaming 20s is about making ourselves better, and I think focusing on using all that we have to love other people is a great way to do that.

Charity: Water let's us make our giving personal. There are tons of ways to volunteer to help with fundraising and other local events. The funding that we raise is collected quarterly, so we don't have to wait to start making big waves. Every three months, our money will go towards funding a project, and they will provide everyone with updates on how Charity: Water is changing the world.
