A couple of days ago I chose a charity, set a goal, and started this campaign page.

Why? Because I love to help others.

Why? Because it feels good to me.

Why? Because my spirit is addicted.

Why? Because THIS is the purpose of life.

I am inviting you to help me in my efforts by donating 1 dollar for each year I have lived. I will be 55 on August 3rd, 2017.

As a thank you, I am going to share with you some of the most beautiful and breath taking photographs I have taken from my phone. Most of them will involve water! I hope you enjoy them!

In this first photo, I'm holding a sand dollar that I found on a little island in the Bahamas - we kayaked from the boat anchored in the distance.

THE CAUSE:
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
