I am turning 25 this year on the 14th of January. That's in 15 days! I am a quarter of the way to 100 years and I wanted to really give back this year.

I am starting this year off with this campaign for Charity Water. I am setting a goal for $50, which is the donation of my wife and myself of a dollar for every year that we have been alive ($25 each)!

I am inviting anyone that wants to join in to do so. It is simple. Just follow the link to the donate page and check the box that says you are doing this on behalf of some one and put "Nathan Keeney" in that box and send me a message to let me know you helped out! Then share it on social media so others know that you helped out and then hopefully they help out too! I would be thankful for anyone who helps.

I am not one who liked fundraising when I was growing up because I did not like making people feel obligated to help and I always thought "you never really know where all of your money goes."

Charity water is different. 100% of all the money that you and I raise together goes to help give a person clean water.

And they do it right, by helping give people sustainable sources of clean drinking water. If you don't believe me take a look, they publish all of their financial records and projects online for the public to view.

They don't use any of the money from us because they have separate benefactors that provide the capital needed for running the business.

Anyways, if you were looking to start the year off right and make a difference this is a great way to do it! It's simple, but a great way to give back! Every $50 gives one person clean water. So why not put in $25 and get someone else to chip in the same. Do it with a friend and make a difference in someone else's life together.
