Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of clean water to drink.

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury.

Tons of kids in Africa can't even see through their water, much less drink it without becoming sick.

Every day, about 1,400 kids die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.

I started this fundraising campaign to help a wonderful charity called charity: water supply one entire village with clean water.

That's right, an entire village. This project will drill a well that will supply a whole village with clean water--something they've never seen before in their lives.

I'm looking for anyone who can help me, and I need your help right now.

As an author, I make no secret around the fact that I write a strong female lead character for a reason.

I want my two girls to see a strong female role model.

And yet the women in this village? They spend over four hours a day hauling water to their homes, and the water is filthy.

Cholera, Dengue, Schistomiasis, Hepatitis, Typhoid, and even leaches. That's right, tiny leaches right in the water, and the children drink them down.

Drilling this well will change everything for them. The children, the women, the men, everyone.

When fresh water first flows, the entire village will dance and scream in celebration, and that's not an exaggeration.
