Nearly 1 Billion people do not have access to clean drinking water. That means nearly 1 Billion people drink contaminated water infested with bacteria that causes diarrhea, dehydration, and often times, death.
90% of the 30,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and unhygienic living conditions are of children under five years old.
The 9 Salon is donating $3 from every hair service until September 30th to help build a well in a developing nation which will provide clean drinking water for 250 people.
